The weather is getting colder and before you know it we will be in the middle of winter cuddling up by the fire and drinking hot cocoa to stay warm. I found a great way to gift Blistex Lip Balm. I took a make-up bag I bought on clearance at Target and dressed it up a little by adding a felt flower applique. I used my Cricut machine to cut the shapes, but the shapes are very simple so you can easily cut them out of felt by hand.
I sewed the button and flower onto the bag and then I used glue to attach the leaves. It was super quick to put together and I think is gives the bag a nice personal touch. I’ll add a pack of Blistex lip balm and the recipient will have a cute make-up bag and moisturized lips all season long.
