My Weekly Target Shopping Trip (Spent $25, Saved $86)

3/22/13

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Here is what I picked up at Target this week. I spent $24.87 (before tax) and saved $86.16 off the normal retail value of $111.03.   I was thrilled to find the Bounce back in-stock.   I also scored quite a few clearance items.    Here are the coupons I used:

Bounce Dryer Sheets (34 ct) $2.09 ~ Buy 3
$3/3 Target coupon from 3/3 SmartSource insert  (regional)
$3/3 coupon from 3/3 P&G insert
Final Price = $ .09 each

Bic Silky Touch Razor (10 pack) $3.09
$3/1 coupon from 3/17 SmartSource insert
Final Price = $ .09 each

Here are all the clearance items I bought:

Most of these items will go in my kids Easter basket or Christmas stocking.

  • (2) Coupon Organizer $1.67 (70% off)
  • Journal $2.38 (70% off)
  • Journal $2.44 (70% off)
  • Pens $ .60 (70% off)
  • Pens $ .68 (70% off)
  • Puzzle you Color (4-pack) $ .60 (70% off)
  • Glue $10 (reg $ .34)

  • (2) 3-pack girls underwear $1.78 (70% off)
  • (2) socks $ .90 (70% off)
  • (5) socks $ .45 (70% off)
  • (2) Bull-Frog sunblock $1.74 (70% off – $1/1 hangtag coupon)

I am in the middle of some storage and organizational projects here at my house so I can really use these.    Kind of excited about them, is that silly?

I love those small bins! Four of them fit perfectly on the lower shelf in my freezer (above fridge kind). I have them labeled for veggies, meats, fruits and treats (popsicles, etc). It really helps keeping the small freezer organized!

Hmm, going to have to go looking for those bins. They’d be great for my super-awkward over-the-stairs closet.

Those bins are ‘as is’ so most if the time it means it was a returned online item and the store doesn’t carry them. I used to work at Target for 4 years. We had people return online items all the time and they were always marked that.
