I really can’t believe that back-to-school season is upon us.  Every year summer seems to go by quicker and quicker.  While I enjoy the lazy days of summer I also love getting back to a routine and having our mornings run a little more smoother.  I’m sharing some tips and trips for packing lunches and also a few things you can do with your younger kids to help them stay on task when getting ready for school in the morning.

To make packing lunches a breeze you can keep Smucker’s Uncrustables on hand.  Uncrustables Sandwiches have the satisfying taste of a homemade sandwich, with good-to-go ease. You keep them in your freezer, put them in your child’s lunchbox and by lunchtime they are ready to eat.

To make packing lunches an easier task, I prep a lot of the lunch snacks and drinks at the beginning of the week and keep them all in the refrigerator.   In the morning it’s so easy to put everything in their lunch box.  It makes packing lunches super quick!

It’s fun for the kid too because they can decide which fruit options and cracker options they want for their lunch.  My kids love the Smucker’s Uncrustables because of the great flavors and the super soft bread.  I love them because they contain no high fructose corn syrup and are Non-GMO Certified.

Another thing we do that helps our mornings run more smoothly is we’ve created a “My Morning Routine” checklist for our youngest.  He needs reminders to stay on task and the list helps him do that.  He loves checking off the items he’s accomplished every morning.

Between the “to do” list and pre-packing our school lunches it really does make our morning routine more manageable.  The key at our house really is prepping ahead of time.   If you have a child that struggles making decisions they could also pick out what they want to wear the night before.

You can print a copy of the “My Morning Routine” checklist so your kids’ can use it too.  I laminated mine so the check marks could easily be wiped off every day.

You will find the Uncrustables in lots of tasty flavors like Grape, Strawberry, Hazelnut, Peanut Butter, and more!  They even come in reduced-sugar varieties too.

You can find Uncrustables at your local Target store in the freezer section.  Through the month of August, Uncrustbables are on sale for $3.00 a box.  Pick up a few boxes to make your morning routine a breeze!
