The kids are back-to-school and you may be in need of some on-the-go breakfast ideas that are great for when your kids are racing to the bus stop. We try our best to schedule enough time in the morning to get everything accomplished, but that doesn’t always happen. We’ve got a great on-the-go breakfast that is not only healthy but the kids love it too. I make these Breakfast Yogurt Pops with Post Great Grains Cereal and Raspberries the night before a school day and we are set.
They are super easy to make! Here is what you need:
- Post Great Grains Cereal
- Yogurt
- Raspberries
Add some yogurt to the bottom of a plastic cup or popsicle mold, then add Post Great Grains cereal and a Raspberry or two.
Repeat the same layers one more time.
Lastly, finish it off with another layer of yogurt. I usually tap the cup on the counter so the yogurt is even at the top. Next add a piece of foil over the top of the cup and insert a stick. Put them in the freezer and let them freeze overnight. Letting them freeze over night probably isn’t necessary, I would think they would be frozen in 3 hours or so.
You now have a great breakfast for at home or on-the-go. The Post Great Grains Crunchy Pecans cereal is a great addition to the fruit and yogurt because it contains fiber rich whole grain flakes, multi grain cluster and wholesome pecans. Great Grains is a whole grain cereal that has less processed nutrition that you can see. It’s also an excellent source of fiber.
