Target Closing 12 Stores in 2018

Target has announced that they will be closing 12 stores by February of 2018.  All of these stores will stay open for the holidays.  Here is the list of the stores that will be closing:

• Eastland in Harper Woods, Mich.
• Hutchinson, Kans.
• Benton Harbor, Mich.
• Fergus Falls, Minn.
• Hastings, Minn.
• Macon, Ga.
• Slidell, La.
• Lauderhill, Fla.
• Matteson, Ill.
• Romeoville, Ill.
• Baltimore West
• San Antonio Far East

  1. My store is one of these stores and we are in shock! It appears to be busy all hours of the day. It is a real hit to our community. There are petitions and pleas for phone calls to headquarters all over social media here. I can’t imagine not having Target. There is one about an hour away but that isn’t the same as having a local one.

    1. I’m sad for you Melissa. I would be so bummed if my closest Target closed. Honestly, it is my fear that it may happen one of these days, it seem slow to me many times when I shop.

      1. Mine too! Was never expecting this was going to happen. Huge Target and was always busy with customers. Can’t believe it! ???

  2. What is happening? Are they filing bankruptcy? Inquiring for a friend.
    Please advise if the payments made on her bill are costing her more?
