Update on Target Toy Clearance & some Photos!

It sounds like not all Target stores have marked down the toys to 70% off. It seems like a mixed bag this year, some are saying there are no markdowns, while other mention some of the items going 70% off and then other say the majority of their toys went 70% off. I’m hearing from most that LEGO and Barbie items have not been marked down to 70% off.
Here are some tips:
- Don’t believe the percent off signs, you will want to check the individual stickers and even scan items.
- Melanie share a great tip! You can use the target app to scan items! It will show if it’s 70% off or not.
- There is a chance the markdown can happen later in the afternoon.
- If it didn’t happen today there is a very good chance a markdown will take place next Thursday.
While as a whole there isn’t a ton of “Today is the day!” comments on Facebook we are getting some great photos of items readers did find at 70% off.
Christine got to her store at 8 am and had to wait a bit for markdowns but they were pretty fast. The robot was $149 and I got it for $49! Lego City was 70% off too at $13!!! I’d be super excited about that one! It’s rare to find LEGO at 70% off this early.
Here is what Karen scored at 70% off. She found quite a few things I haven’t even seen before.
Wendy got all of these at 70% off, with the exception of the Munchkin game which was 50% off.
Anna found the one toys she was hoping to find. I love when that happens!

Went to three different ones in NH, Hooksett, Bedford and Salem. None of them put Legos at less than 30% off, and most everything was 50%. Real disappointment this year. January was pretty lame too. Seems they’ve changed strategy, since a lot of people who showed up for 70% bought out most of the decent stuff at 50%. Pretty hurtin’.
We too were in NH and in MA at different Target’s found few select toys in MA at 70% most stores are still at 50% and not a great selection this year, very disappointed. We got better deals at the Disney store!
