Caramel Apple Cupcakes

The cake mix is sweetened with applesauce and caramel and it’s topped with vanilla frosting and a drizzle of caramel sauce. It make for a perfect fall flavor combination. Yum!

Here is what you will need to make the Caramel Apple Cupcakes

Pillsbury Yellow Cake Mix
2 cups Applesauce
1/8 cup Caramel Sauce
3 Eggs

Caramel Sauce (for drizzling)

Instead of following the standard cake instructions on the box, add the cake mix, applesauce, caramel sauce and eggs into a bowl and mix until well combined. Line muffin pan with cupcake liners and spray each liner lightly with cooking spray. Fill each liner about 2/3 full. Bake in 350 degree oven for 19-23 minutes.

Take the cupcakes out the oven and let them cool. Once the cupcakes are completely cool they are ready to be frosted.
